My Mini Love!

20141024_130610_resizedWhile growing up I was always fascinated with the Mini, from the Mini Minor to the modern Mini we see on the road today. It was honestly like a dream come true, when I signed my contract on my very first Mini Cooper – the 2014 Mini Cooper Hatch!

Here are the top 5 reasons why I love my Mini.

You can ask it to do something and it will
Unlike your partner or friend if you ask your Mini to do something it actually will. The voice activation makes it easy to navigate between your radio, media devices and on-board computer without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

It lights up your life
The full-LED headlights maybe an optional extra but it is well worth the money. Not only do they make it very easy to see the road at night, but your Mini will also really stand out and any driver will see you instantly. This works very well for me, as I often have to drive late at night. The Mini also has a nifty feature that allows you to set your lights to stay on for a period after you lock your car, meaning if you have to walk in the dark to your front door your Mini will light the way!

It keeps you connected
The new Minis come with a very clever feature called Mini Connected. This special feature enables you to have the world at your fingertips without taking your eyes off the road! You can use it to follow your friends on Facebook or Tweet about your travels. You will really get the most out of your journey as you can choose to stay up to date with the latest RSS news feeds, stream music from radio stations from all over the world with Webradio or look up the nearest pizza place via Online Search.

It’s so big you can’t miss it
Mini display is known for being big, round and hard to miss. But honestly they have just taken it one step further when it comes to their newer models. The display makes the on-board computer easy to see and navigate and the customise function gives you the opportunity to set your LED colours and change specific features like which doors open when you press the unlock button on your car key.

Nippy is its middle name
If you are looking for a fuel efficient car that is easy to drive then you have definitely come to the right place! Dashing from 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds and pushing out 100kW from its 1.5l 3-cylinder the Mini Twin Power Turbo engine is low in emissions, but high in output. It really does give you that go-kart feeling that you see in “The Italian Job”.20141024_130831_resized
