Planning a trip is unbelievably exciting but finding the perfect accommodation within your budget can get quite stressful.
Here are a few tips that can make finding your dream accommodation a breeze.
1.Location, location, location
I start by looking through some of the main tourist attractions in the area I am planning on visiting. I use this to choose the location that we would stay in. The closer you are to the attraction the less transport you will need to use.

2. Hotels aren’t the only option
It might sound nice to stay at a fancy hotel but sometimes you can find a great apartment at an even better rate. Don’t get me wrong there are some really great hotels available as well, but why not look around to find the perfect match for you.
It also makes life 100% easier with booking websites such as booking.com or airbnb.com including apartments.
3. Sign up for reward programmes before you book
Often if you sign up for a newsletter or create an account either on a booking website or a hotel website a few days later they send you a discount code for your first stay. This is an easy way to save a few bucks on your accommodation.
4. Look around
Don’t book the first place you see, look around and you might be very surprised to find a few great deals. It took me over 3 weeks to find our perfect accommodation.
5. Deal section
A number of places have deals on their websites. You could get a package deal that gives you accommodation and a few extras such as dinner, spa treats or even an extra night for free.
